The Ego, the Self and Writing an Essay About Analysis of Adam Smith and Karl Marx

The Ego, the Self and Writing an Essay About Analysis of Adam Smith and Karl MarxIf you have ever read a group of Adam Smith and Karl Marx essays then you may have noticed that they each talk about what a human being is. This is a good way to start any essay because it helps the students focus on what they are writing about. They may be concentrating on Adam Smith and Karl Marx, but they should still be able to describe what a human being is all about. What each essay talks about is how humans are perceived by other people's behavior. It is really about how people see themselves. We see ourselves as rational creatures, knowing that we must follow rules and obey laws in order to live in a society that values the self. It is a subjective self and so we may use the word 'self'ego' in our essays to refer to this. When we are talking about the ego, we are referring to the thing that we are thinking about most often. It is a thing. But we also think of it as a separate entity, a different th ing from our bodies. But it is a very important thing to us and so it must be something to be analyzed and understood. The ego has been described in various ways by the people who have written these essays. Some people prefer to refer to it as 'internalized values.' They are what people have internalized about themselves. Other people prefer to refer to it as 'concealed values.'Whatever it is called, the ego is something that we think about most of the time and therefore it must be analyzed and understood. Adam Smith and Karl Marx both talked about the importance of the ego. They said that an individual with an ego is more successful than one without one. It is interesting to note that Adam Smith and Karl Marx also had an important difference of opinion about the self. Karl Marx believed that there is no such thing as the self, and he explained why we must use it to look at what others think about us. He said that the self was nothing but the sum of the inner perceptions of all those people. So, although they both talked about the ego and the self they disagreed on it. Adam Smith maintained that we must make a distinction between what is internal to the person and what is external to the person. And Karl Marx, according to some writings, insisted that all aspects of the individual person are part of the collective.Writing an essay about analyzing Adam Smith and Karl Marx is not difficult if you know what to write about. Take the time to write about what you have learned about the ego and the self in these essays and you will be surprised how much you come to know about the things that you were writing about.
